Tariffs or Time to Reinvent?
Hello there,
You know that saying, "There are 2 sides to every coin"?
This week, that phrase hit differently. Whether it's global tariffs, unexpected downtime, or shifting priorities.
It all comes down to how you choose to see it.
Tariffs or Time to Reinvent? The Duality of Everything.
Tariffs are back in the headlines. Many businesses see them as obstacles. But let's look at Warren Buffett. He believes in being "greedy when others are fearful."
During market shake-ups, Buffett often finds opportunities. For instance, in 2024, he sold stocks and built a $300 billion cash reserve. When markets dropped due to new tariffs, his strategy increased his net worth by $11.5 billion.
Challenges like tariffs can be roadblocks or chances to innovate. It's about perspective.
Vision Needs Space
While Sweee is currently on pause, I've been channeling that space into something new:
I've tapped into some angel investor circles, diving into the art of evaluating startups.
I'm talking to founders from Y Combinator. Not as their designer, but as their thought partner and collaborator.
Tomorrow, I step into something I've always wanted to do: volunteering with WWF. First event kicks off on April 11. Wheeee~~
Flu and Foundership
Being sick for a whole week reminded me: consistency is a privilege.
I've been going to Virgin Active for almost a year, attending over 18 group classes a month. Missing it made me realize how much the gym fuels my creativity, mood, and mindset.
It's never just fitness. It's energy maintenance for visionary work.
And this is where it all ties together:
Tariffs? They'll keep coming.
Business pivots? Always.
Life curveballs like burnout, sickness, delays...
But everything has 2 sides.
It's not about what happens to you. It's about how you adapt, reframe, and move forward.
If you're bold enough to see every challenge as raw creative material, you'll always land on your feet.
Or at least, back at the gym with my favorite instructors.
Quick Moonscape Check-In
Moonscape Studio is engaging in meaningful conversations and aligned opportunities.
Building deeper connections in the startup ecosystem. (DMs are open if you've got something visionary in the works.)
Sweee is paused but not forgotten. Waiting for the right moment to strike back harder.
WWF volunteering starts tomorrow. Feels like a new chapter.
To You, The Dreamer Still On The Fence
To the one reading this who's still wondering if they should take the leap…
Let me say this: there is no "perfect" time.
You build your parachute after the jump. You write the playbook while playing. And trust me, it's scary, but it's worth it.
You've got this.
I'm building my dream from scratch too, right alongside you.
Until next week,
